Piers is an accomplished freelance Photographer/ Filmmaker and Social Media and Content Creation Consultant, based in Hertfordshire/London.

Piers graduated from Loughborough University with a BA/Hons in Drama and started his career as an actor, performing in productions including: American Justice (Arts Theatre), Merchant of Venice (NCPA Beijing) and Woosah (Old Vic), as well as several short films and web series.

He has been working as a photographer for the best part of ten years. Career highlights include: his photos being featured on The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug DVD for Warner Brothers Pictures and numerous works in outdoor print around London, and publications around the UK, such as The Guardian , The Times, Daily Telegraph, The Independant, Victoria Magazine, and Timeout.

Until August 2020 he was Head of Social Media and Content Creation at Target Live (Havas) for over 5 years - managing, strategising and creating content for a wide variety of over 100 social / digital media accounts for notable Live Entertainment and Cultural brands covering West End, Off West End, National and International touring theatre productions, Exhibitions, Venues and Festivals. He has recently joined the new creative agency Make A Noise as a freelance consultant.

He has experience of proactively training and presenting industry developments to groups of varying sizes including his team and colleagues he worked with at Target Live and the wider Havas family, but also most notably with Southbank Centre, Mountview Students and high profile celebrities involved in theatre and events.
